Information Design
Simplifying and clarifying the complex is an essential capability for nearly every client of is + at, and for us, among the most rewarding.
Data does not tell stories. Interpreting and presenting trends, outliers, and clusters from the data is what provokes a story or idea. Strong information design enables understanding and contextualization. From here, data can spur great debate, change, inspiration, emotion, and action.
Our work demands we become students of our clients’ data, working with them to be competent not just of the raw data, but the intent behind its communication and the context in which it operates. Form follows function in many cases; none more so than in our years of experience creating order out of complexity, resulting in efficient, engaging visualizations.
